BALDWIN HILLS : Students’ Talents in the Arts Showcased

Young Writers & Artists, a division of International Black Writers & Artists/Los Angeles, is holding a youth talent showcase and art exhibit Oct. 10 at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.

Junior high and high school students from Southwest Los Angeles area schools will offer three- to five-minute presentations of original writing, music, poetry, rap, short stories, dramatic readings and dance. The event emphasizes literacy and anti-graffiti efforts.
