Michael Jordan on the PGA Tour? Payne Stewart said that the retired Chicago Bull superstar has a chance of succeeding as professional golfer.

Stewart, a former U.S. Open and PGA champion, has played several rounds with Jordan and has been impressed by his attitude and work ethic.

Stewart said that Jordan, 30, has the advantage of being wealthy enough to devote himself single-mindedly to improving.

“He’s building an indoor driving range in his new house and he can afford to hire the best teacher around if he wants,” Stewart said. “He’s got every advantage that comes from having money.”

Some of which he allegedly still owes to another amateur golfer, Richard Esquinas.
