LOS ANGELES : 14-Year-Old Girl Killed in Drive-By Shooting
A 14-year-old girl was killed and a 25-year-old man was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting on a street near USC, police said Tuesday.
Arrianna Rodriguez died at California Hospital from a gunshot wound to the head, and Eric Gibson was in critical condition at County-USC Medical Center from multiple wounds following the attack Monday night in the 1200 block of West 36th Place.
Rodriquez was in a car across the street from Lenicia B. Weemes School at about 9:30 p.m. when the shots were fired from a passing vehicle carrying three people, police said.
