Malibu : Forum on Legal Settlement
The City Council will hear public comment at its meeting Tuesday on a proposed settlement with the Malibu Bay Co. and the Malibu Village Civic Assn. regarding development plans for the Civic Center area.
The city and Civic Center landowners announced the proposed agreement last month. It called for the landowners to ultimately dismiss their lawsuit challenging the city’s interim zoning ordinance in exchange for a public process to develop a plan for the Civic Center once the city adopts its General Plan.
Copies of the final proposal are available free at City Hall, 23805 Stuart Ranch Road. The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in Hughes Auditorium, 3011 Malibu Canyon Road.
