Mavericks Beat Clippers, 91-75

DALLAS —
Jim Jackson scored 10 of his 22 points to help Dallas to a 30-14 lead after one quarter and the Mavericks cruised to their first exhibition victory, 91-75 over the Clippers on Friday night.
Dallas got 15 points and nine rebounds from rookie center Darren Morningstar. Rookie Harold Ellis led the Clippers (5-2) with 11 points, the only Clipper in double figures.
Fat Lever and rookie Jamal Mashburn had 11 points each for Dallas.
