SIMI VALLEY : Boland Seeks Residents’ Input at Town Meeting
Simi Valley residents worried about crime and graffiti in the city can learn more and share concerns at a town meeting Wednesday sponsored by Assemblywoman Paula L. Boland (R-Granada Hills).
A slide presentation outlining the community’s growing graffiti problem will be shown by Lt. Jon Ainsworth. After the slide show, residents can discuss how crime has affected them, officials said.
Boland said in a statement that she is looking for residents’ ideas that result in legislation to toughen punishment to various crimes. Boland is vice chairwoman of the Assembly Public Safety committee.
The meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Simi Valley-Moorpark Assn. of Realtors, 2080 Winifred St.
