Holiday gift-givers will get a chance to shop early this weekend as the 11th annual Holiday House Craft Festival returns to Thousand Oaks.

The Saturday fair will include nearly 150 booths of arts and crafts, as well as food and continuous entertainment for children.

“It’s to offer an avenue for crafters in the area to show their handicrafts,” said Greg Schiller of the Thousand Oaks Community Center advisory council, which is sponsoring the festival with the Conejo Recreation and Park District.

“It’s a chance for the public to do some holiday shopping and the community to get together and have a good time viewing interesting and different types of art,” Schiller said.

The fair opens at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Thousand Oaks Community Center at 2525 N. Moorpark Road. The event also will raise money for the advisory council.

Childrens’ entertainers Janet and Judy will join the Hotbilly Boys and Radio Aahs throughout the afternoon.
