International Remote Imaging Profits Rise

International Remote Imaging Systems Inc., a Chatsworth maker of urinalysis workstations, reported higher earnings in its third quarter and nine months ended Sept. 30.

In the latest quarter, International Remote had a profit of $212,032, up 16% from $183,296 in net income a year before. Its revenue rose 11%, to $2.24 million from $2.02 million.

For the nine months, the company earned $862,213, an 81% gain from $476,686 in profit in the same period of 1992. Its nine-month revenue was $6.95 million, an increase of 23% over $5.64 million in the prior year.
