Buena Park Police Seek 2nd Suspect in Warehouse Bludgeoning Death

Share

Police said Tuesday that they are searching for a second suspect in the killing of a 39-year-old man who was bludgeoned, then set afire in a warehouse last month.

Victim Steve William Courvoisier, who was from Canada, lived in the warehouse at 8561 Roland St. with Terry Don Little, 24, who disappeared after the Oct. 24 slaying, said Police Sgt. Robert Chaney.

Little apparently got into an argument with the victim, which resulted in Courvoisier’s death, Chaney said. Little apparently knows he is wanted for questioning and is “on the run,” Chaney said.

Little “wasn’t an absolute suspect in the beginning, but we wanted to talk to him,” Chaney said. “When he just flat-out disappeared, we started looking in his direction because he was nowhere to be found.”

Police already have another suspect, Derrick Brady, 24, who is in custody at Orange County Jail on unrelated burglary charges.

Brady has not been charged in Courvoisier’s death, and investigators would not release any information explaining his alleged connection to the crime.

Investigators believe Little has left California and could be on his way to Anchorage, Alaska, where he has relatives and a former girlfriend, Chaney said.

Anyone with information on Little is asked to call Investigator Corey Sianez at (714) 562-3902.
