MOORPARK : City Is Sponsoring Holiday Craft Fair
Moorpark residents can get a head start on holiday shopping Saturday at a city-sponsored craft fair that will feature the work of more than 70 vendors.
More than 60 valuable prizes will be given away and a “Kids Corner” will be provided to entertain youngsters while parents shop at the event, which is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Meadows Park.
“It’s an ideal time for the residents of the community to see in one place a wide variety of crafts, you might say homemade articles, that certainly are appropriate for decorating and gift-giving during the holidays,” Mayor Paul Lawrason said.
The park is located near the intersection of Mountain Trail Street and Tierra Rejada Road. Parking is available on Mountain Trail and Mountain Meadows streets.
