LOS ANGELES : Schedule Changes for School District Meetings
Two changes have been made in the schedule of public meetings on restructuring the Los Angeles Unified School District.
A committee meeting called Best Practices, which will compile information on model education programs, will meet Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the district’s senior high school division, 644 W. 17th St.
The Customer Services group, which will determine the type of school-related information and services that could be offered to the public, will not hold its general meeting on Monday
Ten committees have been formed to grapple with issues related to the massive restructuring, which will reorganize the district into clusters of high schools and their feeder campuses by July. The committee meetings are open to the public and are taking place throughout the district. More information may be obtained by calling (213) 625-6281.
