Video Game Violence
* Video games with violent images do not “promote violence,” as California Atty. Gen. Dan Lungren claims (Nov. 17). Extreme violent images are absurd and funny, not educational. Does he really think that children who watch “Splatterhouse 3” will be tempted to eat someone’s brains?
I grew up watching Warner Brothers cartoons, and I’ve never once dropped an anvil on someone’s head.
