SOUTH-CENTRAL LOS ANGELES : Ice Cream Vendor Slain While at Work on Streets
An ice cream vendor was shot to death on a South-Central Los Angeles street on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The vendor, an unidentified man in his 30s, was struck in the chest during the 2:10 p.m. shooting near the intersection of 42nd Street and Central Avenue, according to homicide detectives in the Police Department’s Newton Division. He died less than an hour later at County-USC Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
