Man Found Shot to Death on Street Near Park in Sylmar
Police Wednesday found the body of a man who had apparently been fatally shot on a street near Veterans Memorial Park in Sylmar, authorities said.
The man, described as in his late 20s or early 30s, was not immediately identified. Most other details about the death were sketchy late Wednesday evening.
Officers found the body, which had at least one bullet wound to the upper torso, in the 13200 block of Parkland Circle about 6:50 a.m., after a neighbor saw the body and phoned police, said Detective Bob Bogisin of the LAPD.
