PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Knee Injury Might Sideline Newberry

Left guard Tom Newberry re-injured his knee during practice and is questionable for Sunday’s game at Phoenix, Coach Chuck Knox said.

Right tackle Jackie Slater (torn pectoral muscle) didn’t practice and is questionable. Wide receiver Ernie Jones (knee) practiced and is back at full speed, Knox said.

Phoenix injuries: Running back Johnny Bailey (groin), safety John Booty (ankle) and guard Mark May (back) are doubtful. Defensive end Michael Bankston (knee) and defensive tackle Keith Rucker (shoulder) are probable.
