Century 21 Expansion: Century 21 Real Estate Corp. said Monday that it is continuing its worldwide expansion with the formation of a new sales group in New Zealand.

Century 21 New Zealand Ltd. was created by merging 18 franchise offices in the South Pacific nation with the 22 company-owned and four franchise offices of Elders Pastoral Ltd., a real estate sales organization based in Auckland.

Elders Pastoral recently purchased the rights to operate under the Century 21 name in New Zealand, a move that “will enable us to significantly strengthen our position” there, said Richard J. Loughlin, president of Irvine-based Century 21.
