Legal Immigration
I was appalled to see the INS statistics indicating that 800,000 to 900,000 legal immigrants are expected to arrive (each year) over the next several years (Dec. 14).
What has to hit us on the head before we wake up and say “enough is enough”? There are more and more job layoffs, fewer and fewer jobs for college grads, and the unemployment rate does not appear to be getting much better.
Wake up, America. The true meaning of the Statue of Liberty ended 40 to 50 years ago! The French can have it back as far as I’m concerned. How dare our government continue this immigration practice without the consent of the people who pay for it.
