In the Century League:

Santa Ana Valley 88, El Modena 50--Olujimi Mann had 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and Carlos Quezada connected on four three-pointers en route to 17 points for third-ranked Santa Ana Valley, which improved to 18-2 and 2-0 in league.

In the Empire League:

Cypress 43, Esperanza 41--Reserve freshman Wesley Bunn Jr. took a pass with four seconds left on the clock and shot a 15 footer at the buzzer for the victory for Cypress (10-7, 1-1). Carl Latting had 22 points for Esperanza (10-6, 1-1).

Katella 64, El Dorado 59--LaByron Clayton scored 26 points and Nick Roditis added 15 for host Katella (10-5, 1-1). Dustin Miller and Dante Spencer scored 16 points each for El Dorado (0-2 in league).

In the Garden Grove League:

Bolsa Grande 66, Rancho Alamitos 51--Brian Baugmann had a season-high 23 points and Cuong Doan added four three-pointers for Bolsa Grande (7-7, 3-1).

In the Orange League:

Brea-Olinda 52, Anaheim 48--Matt Bodiford scored 19 points and Madhav Boddula added 12 for host Brea-Olinda (5-13, 1-1). Frank Castillo and Alfonso Rodriguez each scored 14 points for Anaheim (4-11, 0-2).

Savanna 54, Magnolia 47--Jermaine Moore and Todd Wilson each scored 15 points for host Savanna (8-7, 2-0). Frank Henderson scored 13 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter for Magnolia, which is 1-1 in league.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Century 47, Costa Mesa 38--Ninth-ranked Century (15-3, 1-1) got 13 points and seven steals from Hector Negrete.

In the Sea View League:

Irvine 60, Woodbridge 59--Ryan Corbin hit a layup with two seconds left to win for host Irvine (7-9, 2-2). Woodbridge is 7-8, 1-3.

Tustin 98, University 78--Doug Gottlieb scored 27 points and Aaron Kraus added 21 for visiting Tustin (10-6, 3-1). Demetrius Zeigler scored 23 points and Ali Amiri added 21 and eight assists for University (8-7, 1-3).

Capistrano Valley 53, Mission Viejo 49--Brandon Puffer had 24 points for Capistrano Valley (12-4, 2-0) and Dinari Bates added 14. Jerry Reid had 22 points for Mission Viejo (6-9, 0-2).
