HULA BOWL : Foley Leads College All-Stars Past Hawaiians
Glenn Foley of Boston College passed for two touchdowns, leading the College All-Stars to a 28-15 victory over the Hawaii All-Stars in the Hula Bowl on Saturday.
The collegians came back from a 13-point first-half deficit and didn’t put the game away until Tommy Jones of Fresno State returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown with 2:12 left.
Hawaii had taken the lead on field goals of 29 and 42 yards by Zerin Kahn and a 19-yard scoring pass from Garrett Gabriel to Daniel Ahuna.
West Virginia’s Jake Kelchner completed a 62-yard scoring pass play to Andre Coleman of Kansas State, and Foley gave the collegians a 14-13 halftime lead on a nine-yard pass to Florida’s Willie Jackson.
Foley completed 11 of 19 passes for 118 yards, and Kelchner was six of 11 for 161 yards.
