Andrew Magee’s errorless final round of 67 on the par-72 Tucson National course kept him ahead of all challengers and produced a two-shot victory Sunday at the Northern Telecom Open.

Magee, 31, started his 10th PGA Tour season with his first title since 1991 and fourth overall. His four-day total was 18-under 270. He won $198,000.

Jay Don Blake, Loren Roberts, Vijay Singh and Steve Stricker tied at 272. Roberts shot a 64, the day’s lowest round, and Singh carded a 65.

Magee birdied Nos. 3, 8, 11 and 14, then finished with four consecutive pars while Blake and Stricker, his closest pursuers, faltered.

Olin Browne had the shot of the day on the 495-yard, par-five No. 2 when he made double eagle-two by sinking a four-iron shot from 217 yards away.

But Browne was only two-under for the rest of the round and finished sixth at 273.
