Here are some facts and figures on the aftermath of last week’s magnitude 6.6 earthquake:

* DEATHS: 57 (state estimate)

* INJURIES: More than 7,671 people have been treated and released at hospitals; about 690 were admitted for care.

* AFTERSHOCKS: A magnitude 4.5 aftershock at 9:19 a.m. Thursday was centered two miles west of Granada Hills.

* DAMAGE: More than 25,148 buildings had been inspected. Officials have declared 5,812 buildings, including 15,581 dwelling units, at least partially unsafe.

* ARRESTS: Since the quake, the Los Angeles Police Department has taken 418 people into custody. On a typical day, there are about 530 arrests in the city.

* HOMELESS: Almost 1,869 remained housed in 176 Army tents at five San Fernando Valley parks. Thirty-one tents have been removed from Lanark Recreation Center.

* NATIONAL GUARD: Officials said some of the 1,000 National Guard troops mobilized to help in disaster relief efforts will begin moving out of the city, but some will be replaced by Guard troops from other areas. About 108 bilingual Guard troops are acting as translators.

* UTILITIES: The Southern California Gas Co. said an estimated 18,000 customers remained without gas service as of Thursday, largely because personnel cannot get into houses to check for possible leaks. Customers must make arrangements with neighbors or have someone meet gas company personnel to get into their homes. All gas company employees carry official identification. Approximately 150,000 homes, apartments and businesses lost gas service after the Jan. 17 Northridge earthquake and aftershocks.

* TRANSIT: A commuter hot line, (800) 286-RIDE, has been set up to provide information on car pools, road closures and other information.

Metrolink will open the Vincent Grade/Acton station Monday, the fourth station on the Antelope Valley Emergency extension from Santa Clarita. The station is off the Antelope Freeway (California 14) on Sierra Highway, south of the Sierra Highway and Angeles Forest Highway intersection. The station will have 500 free parking spaces.

* HELP: The 21st Disaster Application Center will open today at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley. It will be open 1 to 10 p.m. today, then 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily until further notice.

* DUMP: The city of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation will open the Lopez Canyon landfill in Lake View Terrace this weekend to all city residents for disposal of earthquake-related material at no charge. The landfill will be open Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
