Ruelas, Butler Set for 10-Round Bouts
Gabriel Ruelas, the No. 1 World Boxing Council junior lightweight contender, and Lionel Butler, the WBC’s third-ranked heavyweight contender, will fight in separate 10-round bouts Tuesday night at the Country Club in Reseda.
Ruelas (36-2, 19 knockouts) will face Raul Hernandez of Bell. Butler (20-10, 18 knockouts), who has won his last 14 fights, will take on Jerry Jones (10-7).
Brothers P.J. (9-0) and Chuck Goossen (4-0) of North Hollywood will fight against opponents to be determined.
