Man Discovers Body of Co-Worker
A man was found dead in his living room Friday morning by a co-worker concerned about his failure to report to his job, police said.
Homicide investigators are looking into the death, said Santa Ana Police Sgt. Bob Helton, but it’s not certain that foul play was involved. The cause of death has not been determined.
Police have not released the man’s name, because relatives have not yet been notified.
The man lived at a large apartment complex in the 2400 block of North Tustin Avenue, Helton said.
The Orange County coroner’s office has scheduled an autopsy today..
Helton would not say whether there were signs of trauma to the body.
He said the co-worker found the door to the upstairs apartment open when he went to check on the man at 8 a.m. Friday.
