3 Men Rob Homeowner at Gunpoint
Three men forced their way into a Buena Park house and robbed the owner at gunpoint, police said.
The men entered the house in the 6000 block of Homewood Avenue at 11:30 a.m. Friday and accosted Joseph Maier, 30, police said. He was not injured.
Police said the intruders stole several rifles and shotguns from the home and then fled in a golden brown, early 1980s model Chevrolet van.
Investigators believe that at least one of the men knew Maier, Sgt. Jim Dixon said.
“These are not strangers,” he said. “There is a dispute going on somewhere.”
