Course in City Government
New Torrance City Council members and the city clerk will get a short course in city government Tuesday.
Staff members will review for first-time city officials how to put items on City Council agendas, how the budget works, how the Brown Act affects members of the council and other issues.
The public meeting will be at 3:30 p.m. in the meeting room at the Torrance Public Library, 3301 Torrance Blvd. Information: (310) 618-2870.
