COSTA MESA : Aides for Child Abuse Prevention Sought
The Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center of Costa Mesa is seeking Spanish-speaking volunteers to work in its new parent-aide program.
The volunteer aides are needed to help families where an incident of child abuse has occurred or is at risk of occurring, center officials said. The goal is for the volunteer and the parents to develop a trusting relationship that can help solve domestic problems.
Training sessions for volunteers will be held on the evenings of April 6 and 13. For more information, call (714) 722-1107.
