Arthur Nestor Hews; Lawyer Was CEO of Wave Newspaper Group

Arthur Nestor Hews, 68, a nationally known personal injury attorney and more recently chief executive officer of the Los Angeles-based Wave Newspaper Group. Hews became CEO of Wave Newspapers in 1988. He helped merge Wave with Urban Newspapers this month and was named CEO of the combined company, the Wave Newspaper Group. The groups publish more than 600,000 papers and distribute them in South-Central Los Angeles and southeast Los Angeles County.
