Arizona center Joseph Blair is not particularly happy that President Clinton is coming to today’s game to support Arkansas.

“He’s just another fan,” Blair said. “I don’t care. I don’t vote. But I think it’s stupid he’s going to make everyone walk through the metal detectors.”

Blair said he is neither a Republican nor a Democrat.

“I’m a player,” he said.

At a news conference, Arkansas Coach Nolan Richardson was asked if Clinton knows anything about basketball.

“I doubt if anyone in this room knows too much about basketball,” the Arkansas coach said. “He would fit in perfectly in this room.”
