SOUTH COUNTY : Driving Skills Classes for Seniors Offered

A series of two-day classes for senior citizens who want to improve their driving skills and earn automobile insurance discounts will start April 11 in Mission Viejo and San Clemente and continue throughout the month.

Sponsored by the American Assn. of Retired Persons, the workshops include eight hours of classroom instruction. Following graduation, participants are given a state Department of Motor Vehicles certificate qualifying them for insurance discounts.

Cost for the program is $8. Preregistration is required and must be done at the facility where the classes are being held.

Classes in April will be held:
