Business Conference Scheduled April 13

The Ventura County Economic Development Assn. will host its 24th annual Business Outlook Conference on April 13.
The conference--which will feature experts in the areas of economy, health and education--is designed to help business people cope with the recession-choked economy.
Topics of discussion will include “The Clinton Health Plan,” “Free Choice Alternative to the Clinton Plan” and “From Student Development to Economic Development: Quiet Revolution.”
The conference will be held at the Oxnard Hilton Inn, 600 Esplanade Drive. The program starts at 7:15 a.m. and runs through 1:30 p.m.
Registration is $60 for VCEDA members and $75 for non-members. Prospective participants are encouraged to register in advance, although registration also will be allowed at the door on the day of the event.
