BURBANK : Disney to Close Studio for Wells Memorial Service

In honor of Walt Disney Co. President Frank G. Wells, who was killed Sunday in a helicopter crash in a remote Nevada canyon while on a skiing expedition, Disney will shut down its Burbank studio and Burbank/Glendale facilities Monday. A memorial service is planned at the studio lot on Monday and details will be forthcoming. The service will be sent by satellite to Disney’s theme parks, which will remain open.
