Ronald Agenor of Haiti upset third-seeded Andrei Medvedev, 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 6-3, and Andrea Gaudenzi of Italy upset fifth-seeded Thomas Muster, 6-0, 4-6, 6-3, in the second round of the Conde de Godo tournament at Barcelona.
