Former Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Woo will teach a class at Caltech this spring on politics.
Woo’s class, “Asian Americans in Politics: From Private Identity to Public Responsibility,” examines the motivations for political involvement, the obstacles that have prevented Asian Americans from being as successful in politics as they have in science and business, and the responsibility of professionals to become involved in their communities.
