Motorcycle Rider Killed in Collision
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
A 55-year-old Stanton man was killed Thursday night when his motorcycle collided with a car on Springdale Street, authorities said.
The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was on a 1982 Yamaha driving north when a 45-year-old woman, driving a 1987 Pontiac, turned onto Springdale from Cortez Drive, Lt. Jeff Cope said.
The motorcycle rider was taken to Huntington Beach Medical Center where he was pronounced dead of internal injuries.
Cope said the driver of the car was not injured. No arrest was made.
