SANTA ANA : Five Badly Injured in Two-Car Crash
Five people, including a 2-year-old girl, were seriously injured in a two-car crash at West Edinger Avenue and Mohawk Drive, police said.
Apparently there were no witnesses to the accident, which occurred at about 8 p.m. Thursday, Faust said. Police are investigating, and no one has been arrested.
Two people in one car, Jun Thanh Phan, 23, of Westminster and Thuong Minh Truong, 22, of Garden Grove, were taken to Coastal Communities Hospital in Santa Ana, and both are listed in critical condition, said police Sgt. Dick Faust.
Two in the other car, Alejo Ramos Munoz, 58, and Chrystal Munoz, 2, were taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where they are in critical condition. Ramos’ wife, Maria, 44, is in serious condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Both cars were destroyed, Faust said.
