NORTH HOLLYWOOD : Driver, 30, Killed When Car Hits Tree
A 30-year-old Reseda man was killed Monday when his car went over an embankment on the Hollywood Freeway and slammed into a tree, authorities said.
The victim’s name was not immediately released pending notification of his relatives.
The accident occurred about 9:10 a.m. when the man lost control of his car as he traveled south near the Sherman Way off-ramp, California Highway Patrol spokesman Bill Granados said.
Paramedics declared the man dead at the scene.
