Northrop to Give Grumman Chief Figurehead Title: Renso Caporali, the chief executive of Grumman Corp. who initially spurned Northrop Corp.’s takeover efforts, was given the figurehead title of Grumman chairman emeritus by his new boss. Caporali will work as an adviser to Northrop Grumman Corp. during the transition and serve on the board of the combined company, Northrop said. It said the head of Northrop’s B-2 stealth bomber program, Oliver Boileau, will work as president and chief operating officer of Grumman during the transition.
