Countywide : Mall to Host Quake Preparedness Expo
The county will hold its first “Earthquake and Disaster Preparedness Expo” this weekend at MainPlace/Santa Ana.
The expo will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., said Audra Kunf, spokeswoman for the county Emergency Management Division, which is co-sponsoring the event. Other sponsors include Orange County Cities Emergency Management Organization, the city of Santa Ana and MainPlace, Kunf said.
Exhibits will highlight disaster planning and preparedness as well as how residents should react in an emergency. For more information, call (714) 834-7358.
