Alonzo King artistic director of LINES Contemporary Ballet in San Francisco, has been named a UC Regents’ Lecturer at UC Irvine. He will be in residence at the UCI dance department May 23-27 and will give a free lecture demonstration on May 26 in the Fine Arts Village Theatre. LINES appeared last month at the Irvine Barclay Theatre as part of the “Feet First Contemporary Dance Series.” (714) 856-6929.
