A hit-and-run driver crashed into a car, injuring its eight occupants, police said Thursday.
The driver of the second car, Eloy Mendoza, 19, of Panorama City, was treated for cuts to his forehead and legs at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys and released.
Seven others, including a 4-year-old girl, who suffered bruises and complained of pain, were treated at local hospitals and released Wednesday, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a four-door gold Chevrolet Caprice traveling north on Woodley Avenue near Vanowen Steet in Van Nuys rear-ended the car carrying the eight occupants and sped away.
The car with eight occupants crashed into the car in front of it. That car also left the scene.
Police had no suspects late Thursday.
