WEEKEND TV : Animated ‘Magic Flute’ for Kids Airs Today
There’s fun viewing for children this weekend, beginning with the conclusion of the “Weekend Special’s” animated “The Magic Flute,” featuring the voices of Mark Hamill, Michael York and Samantha Eggar. The program airs at 11:30 a.m. today on ABC (Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42).
Tonight at 8 on Nickelodeon, Joey Lawrence and Candace Cameron are hosts of the “Kids’ Choice Awards,” which honors favorites in 12 categories covering music, television and sports.
For horse racing fans, coverage of the 120th running of the Kentucky Derby from Churchill Downs in Louisville begins today at 1:30 p.m. on ABC.
