The Cleveland Indians have learned that reliever Matt Turner, 27, has Hodgkin’s disease.
Turner underwent surgery Tuesday in Cleveland to remove swollen lymph nodes in the groin area, and tests revealed Friday that they were malignant. He is facing up to eight months of chemotherapy, John Hart, Indian general manager, said.
