Kings Say Playoff Refunds Coming
The Kings announced Friday that they are in the process of issuing playoff-ticket refunds to season-seat subscribers.
Payments have been processed for those who secured their seats with credit cards, and checks were issued Friday for other ticket-buyers, a club spokesman said. The Kings did not make the playoffs, and their regular season ended on April 14. There is no NHL policy regarding the handling of playoff refunds.
The delay in postseason refunds has been a major point of contention for disgruntled King fans, who had been told they would receive their money shortly after the sale of the team closed on May 16.
