Slain Man Found in Car in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA —
An unidentified man thought to be in his 20s was shot to death inside a red Honda Thursday night on the 3600 block of West Hazard Avenue in Santa Ana.
“We think it was a drive-by shooting,” said Sgt. Joe Kahapea, adding that the death was being investigated by the department’s gang unit.
Kahapea said police received a call at 8:40 p.m. of shots being fired and found the man shot inside the car.
Paramedics were unable to revive him, and he died at the scene.
