WESTLAKE : Gunman Robs Eatery, Threatens Employees

Share

Ventura County sheriff’s deputies were searching Sunday for a suspect who threatened to kill two employees before cleaning out a safe at a Westlake Domino’s Pizza restaurant, officials said.

Albert Ramos, the restaurant’s assistant manager, said he saw the man talking on a pay phone outside the eatery in the 2800 block of Agoura Road moments before the restaurant’s driver returned from a delivery around midnight Saturday.

“When my driver punched in the code to come inside, once he opened the door, this guy pulled out a gun and put it to his head,” Ramos said. “He told us to get all the money, threatened to kill us and told us to (lie down on) the floor.”

The suspect fled with about $349 of the restaurant’s money, and took the wallets of Ramos, 24, and driver Scott William, 21, police and Ramos said. The suspect, a white male in his early 20s, was wearing a black T-shirt and dark pants, had short brown hair and a goatee.
