The Germans showed an ugly side late in their 2-1 loss to Bulgaria.
During play, they angrily pushed and shoved Bulgarians, and stars Hristo Stoitchkov and Emil Kostadinov were removed from the game before they got hurt.
The Germans were so desperate, they even fouled Bulgaria goalkeeper Borislav Mihaylov.
“I took my men out because the Germans’ style changed,” Bulgarian Coach Dimitar Penev said.
