ALL OR NOTHING: You know those Barbra Streisand tickets turned back in because of her four postponed concerts at The Pond of Anaheim? You’d better have deep pockets if you want any of them. Late Monday, the $50 tickets were sold out; so were the $150 tickets. . . . The $350 seats were the only ones left--and only for the July 22 and July 24 concerts. The July 18 and July 20 concerts were sold out, according to Ticketmaster.

NIGHT FLIGHT: If you like going out, maybe there’s no such thing as too many nightclubs in Orange County. Here’s the latest: the Airporter Club. It’s at the Airporter Garden Hotel in Irvine, across MacArthur Boulevard from John Wayne Airport. . . . Thursday’s grand opening includes three live bands, free food and drink, Los Angeles Rams cheerleaders handing out free key chains, and 458 square feet of dance floor. The club will play live music all nights except Mondays, when a deejay is in charge.

TOUGH TEACHER? Rudy Lozano, 55, who teaches at Lathrop Intermediate School in Santa Ana, recently won first place in a statewide power-lifting competition for his age bracket. Now he’s training for the nationals. . . . Lozano weighs 165 pounds, but was able to lift more than 350 pounds. . . . Lozano says there’s a purpose: to show young people what they can accomplish with exercising and staying drug free. There’s also a bonus, he quips: “I have little problem keeping control of my classes. It helps.”

FIVE TO GO: Remember those 14 people who left Huntington Beach on foot June 18 heading for Central Park in New York City? . . . . Now they are five. Desert temperatures reaching 117 degrees exhausted some of the runners in the corporate-sponsored Trans America Footrace. A few were weakened by a “dysentery-type illness” they picked up in Utah, a spokeswoman says. Now the die-hards have left the desert and are climbing the mountains of Colorado. They expect to reach New York Aug. 20.
