CAMARILLO : Therapist to Stand Trial in Assault Case
A 51-year-old physical therapist from Camarillo has been ordered to stand trial in Ventura County Superior Court on charges he sexually assaulted a patient, prosecutors said.
Dennis Schwartz was bound over to Superior Court on Tuesday following a preliminary hearing in Municipal Court on charges he sexually assaulted a woman during a physical therapy session.
Schwartz, who owns Oxnard Physical Therapy, is scheduled to be arraigned July 26 in Superior Court. If convicted, he faces up to eight years in prison.
