Share

Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives asked for help Thursday in solving the stabbing death of a 24-year-old woman whose body was dumped on a freeway on-ramp in Lynwood early Monday.

Caltrans workers found the partially clothed body of Laura Nanuelu Alegria on the Imperial Highway on-ramp to the southbound Long Beach Freeway, said Deputy Irma Becerra of the Sheriff’s Department.

Alegria’s friends saw her leave the Los Globos nightclub, 3158 Martin Luther King Blvd., with two Latino men about 2 a.m. that day, Becerra said.

Detectives are awaiting test results to determine if Alegria was raped, Becerra said.

Anyone with information about the killing, or anyone who may have seen Alegria leave the bar with the two men, was asked to call detectives at (213) 890-5500.
