MONTEREY--Artisans and actors join forces for the Monterey Bay Arts and Crafts Faire, July 30-31. In conjunction with the closing weekend of Theatrefest ‘94, the fair is 9 a.m.-6 p.m. in Custom House Plaza, between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Doubletree Inn. SAN JOSE--A musical feast awaits at the fifth annual San Jose Jazz Festival, Aug. 4-7. Most performances are noon-8 p.m. Aug. 6-7 in Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park, downtown.
